Brushwolf Creature Studio is a collaborative creative effort between the wife-and-wife team of Amy and Amanda. We are two former art kids with a passion for costume design and fabrication. Amy received her Bachelor of Arts in Crafts from Kent State University in 2009, with a focus on metalwork and textiles. Amanda attended Columbus College of Art and Design in Columbus, Ohio before moving to Kent, Ohio to pursue a career in animal behavior sciences, where the two met, married, and decided to combine their creative passions.

Our studio specializes in realistic and fantasy creature costumes for the stage, small business, and individual hobbyist. We pride ourselves on delivering lifelike, accurate designs with exceptional attention to detail and offbeat charm. Our inspiration comes from a lifelong love of nature, frequently incorporating a fascination with whimsical, macabre, and arcane elements. Whether you need custom work for a theatrical production; a mascot for education or business use; or a costume for your local Renaissance Faire, convention or special event; we look forward to bringing your special project to life.
